Probably the main reason for not blogging is our new addition to the family, Baloo.

He is a pure bred Newfoundland and is the cutest puppy ever. But he is most definitely a puppy. I will be happy when he grows out of this stage. And so will my mother in law who did not ask for a puppy but got one when we moved in with her. :)
Which brings me to my next tidbit of info. We moved! Thank the Lord. DC is a terrible place to live, in my opinion. Any of you who say, "Oh I visited DC last year and I loved it!" Let me tell you, visiting and living are two VERY different things. Unless you love catering to minorities, enjoy hour long traffic jams, and find littered roads to be a type of "experiencing the culture," DC is not for you. We are very happy in our quiet, country setting. We don't have a house yet, but we are currently looking. Here are a few prospects:
This one is on 6 acres on top of a hill :)

We are very excited about all the new changes. I also start a new job on Monday. I'm working for the West Virginia National Guard as Family Resource Support Assistant. As soon as I know what that means, I'll let you know.
Hopefully my next post will not be so few and far between.
